I mean really listen. Not just wait for your turn. Not just assume you know everything.

You know the type:

°Someone who jumps to conclusions before you even finish.

°Someone who interrupts constantly. Yes, even mid-sentence.

°Someone who doesn’t want to know the full story.

°Someone who assumes their perspective is automatically right… just because they hold a title or lead a group.

°Someone who refuses to be corrected.

°Someone who judges based on past experiences, never thinking things could actually be different.

°Someone who only wants to be heard, never giving anyone else the chance to speak.

It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

Because conversations aren’t supposed to be monologues.

They’re supposed to be exchanges.

Moments where people actually hear each other.

But some people… they just don’t.

And sometimes, you’re left wondering:

Do I argue? Step back? Walk away? Protect my peace?

I’m still figuring that out.

But one thing is clear:

Being heard is important.

And giving space for others to speak? Equally important.

So here’s all I’m asking…

Just listen.
